Shark Bay:Type: Point break. Right hander Description: Perfect introduction to reef surfing. A large bay, with slow waves breaking on the inside, having lost their power on the outside. Easy channel to paddle out in, about as safe as you can get. (Don't worry about the name…) Level: All Crowds: Occasionally |

The Bubble:Type: Reef. Mainly right-hander with short, shallow left Description: One of the most well-known reefs here, with a steep sudden take-off and frequent barrels. There's a shallow left for those who really know what they're doing, and a right-hander with a steep endlessly walling face. Popular with bodyboarders and photographers! Level: Advanced Crowds: Yes. Strong localism |

German Rights:Type: Reef. Right-hand wave Description: Long easy right-hander that picks up lots of swell and holds big waves. Strong rip on entry takes you off westwards, long paddle-out. Mellow at high-tide, steeper at low tide. Level: Intermediate Crowds: Yes, when it's small |
